This character is a new line of robot characters for the "Kingdom" series, they are not part of any existing transformers cartoon, I believe this character again is a line of characters just made for the toy line so Hasbro can get fans of transformers to purchase more items.

Transformations are more like taking the robot apart and putting him together again to form the triceratops no real transformation, body parts can be used as accessories for exiting war for cybertron transformer toy line. Would have been cool if these were also a form of combiner and make into a bigger robot.
