Summary

Blitzwing is one of the three triple changers for the Decepticons in the 80s cartoon series, he was also featured in the 80s cartoon movie, so I was surprised that this character was not part of the transformers movie studio series line.

Comments

The robot mode is really well done and identical to the original 80s cartoon style and design. Tank mode works, however they could have added in one more mechanism for the plane cockpit so it could be pushed in and it would have been perfect. The jet plane mode however fails, there is just a bit chunk of tank underneath it, which could have been better engineered to hide it. And I don't understand the energon fists, cool there are accessories but these were not needed at all, I would rather Hasbro/Takara cut that accessory out to save cost and put it into having better mechanism for the jet plane transformation.
